We have had a very difficult time since the sudden death of Naoko Kono of Maligaya House on April 1.

However, we are trying every day to overcome these difficulties in order to protect the human rights of many Japanese-Filipino children who are still in need of our support.

9月1日よりリモートソーシャルワーカーのクリスティンさんが働き始めました。クリスティンさんは以前マリガヤハウスのソーシャルワーカーとして働いた経験があります。

Christine, a remote social worker, started working with us on September 1st. Christine has worked as a social worker at Maligaya House before.

尚子さんの亡くなった後、マリガヤハウスを助けたいとリモートソーシャルワーカーとして働きたいと申し出てくれました。本当に渡りに船でした。とても嬉しかったです。

After Naoko’s passing, she offered to work as a remote social worker to help Maligaya House. It was a really life-saver. We were very happy.

今日は、ケース番号を持っているクライアントで、まだオリエンテーションに参加してないクライアント向けの第1回目の基本的なオリエンテーションをオンラインで実施しました。

Today, Maligaya House conducted the first basic orientation online for clients who have a case number and have not yet attended the orientation.

新規ケースのオリエンテーションは10月になります。もうしばらくお待ちください！
