2023年7月12日、マリガヤハウスのオンライン基本オリエンテーションを実施しました。（※English is below)

マリガヤハウスでは、毎月1回、オンライン基本オリエンテーションを開催しています。それは、フィリピンにいる母子が日本の弁護士にどのように相談をしてケースを受任して頂くのか、その後、自分たちのケースがどのように進んでいくのか、そして、自分たちがすべきことは何なのか、を理解してもらうためです。私たちや弁護士さんたちに相談をすればすべてが解決するわけでもありません。母子の理解と協力が欠かせません。

今回は、予定していた10件中8件がオリエンテーションに参加しました。

そのうちの1件は、フィリピン人の父親が、自分の妻であり、2人の子どもたち（6歳と9歳）の母親である日本人女性を探し出したいというものでした。日本人の母親は2019年のある時期から連絡が途絶え、金銭的な援助も送ってこなくなったそうです。フィリピン人の父が二人の子どもたちを育てていますが、子どもたちは日本人の母親に会いたいと願っています。

On July 12, 2023, we conducted an online basic orientation of Maligaya House.

Maligaya House holds an online basic orientation once a month. The purpose is to help mothers and children in the Philippines understand how to consult with a Japanese lawyer to have their case accepted, how their case will then proceed, and what they need to do. Not everything can be solved by consulting with us and the lawyers. The understanding and cooperation of the mother and child are essential.
This time, 8 out of the 10 cases we planned attended the orientation.

One of the cases involved a Filipino father who wanted to locate a Japanese woman who was his wife and the mother of his two children (ages 6 and 9). The Japanese mother stopped contacting them sometime in 2019 and stopped sending financial support. The Filipino father is raising the two children and they are hoping to see their Japanese mother.
